They were never seen again. Are you brave enough to attempt rescue?
Ecological Cycles
Instructor: Stephanie Burkemoore

Come learn about our local ecology – the ways living and nonliving things interact. Why does winter snow affect baby salmon? How do trees become soil? Where do all those summer insects come from, and where do they go? Students will explore how our environment stays in balance through overlapping cycles: the water cycle, examples of local life cycles, decomposition. We will use games, picture books, crafts, and active exploration. This class will be held mostly outdoors, with some indoor activities.
Machine Sewing: Clothing & Accessories
Instructor: Little Hands Creations
Ages 7 – 14
Maximum class size: 9
**No class March 30th

Students are invited to learn a skill they will use for a lifetime and a hobby they will forever enjoy… sewing! No experience necessary. New students learn machine safety and beginner sewing techniques, while more experienced students expand on skills they already have. The class begins with a simple project, then students will advance at their own pace to more exciting and challenging projects throughout the session. This class is designed to teach children with both beginning and advanced skills. Projects, which are constantly rotating during the quarter, include backpacks, phone cases, clothing, accessories, bags, games, stuffed animals and more!
